Whether it's elephants crossing the Alps or pilgrims journeying the Camino,  Europe's history is steeped in a rich heritage of trails. These paths cover almost every kind of terrain, crossing countries, towns, and villages that each reflect different cultural traditions. I've hiked more of these trails than I can count, and I've decided to document and share the best of what I've found.

Although you can find great trail suggestions around the web, doing the necessary research before you can hit the trail isn’t always a straightforward process. I found that often, having a full plan for the hike you’re about to embark on requires hours of trawling through blogs and forums for snippets of relevant information. The idea behind this site is to help you with exactly that, by providing compact guides for some of Europe's best hiking trails.
